Electric system, cables and transformers
Too far, too late » Devlog
The energy system in TFTL is aimed to be a bit more realistic than in classical space games. Not only you'll have to "connect" devices like solar panels, batteries, lights, machines, etc. but also, you'll have to manage energy, store energy for the night, prioritize some critical circuits (like life support systems) and isolate high-consumption systems to avoid a blackout.
The batteries will store the excess of produced energy during day, transformers will isolate circuits and allow a one-way distribution of energy to charge batteries of critical systems in sub-circuits. Choose the best strategy to distribute energy in you base!
